The To Elysia and Back Again Podcast
If the punishment for a crime has already been paid, can the perpetrator be charged and jailed again (called "double jeopardy)? Not in the United States of America. Our constitution outlaws "double jeopardy," which means you can't be tried for the same crime twice.
This week, we'll be looking at Galatians 2, and we'll be discussing the concept of being dead to the law and how it compares to double jeopardy (and, coincidentally, the movie Double Jeopardy). Galatians 2 contains some pretty phenomenal stuff that will make you reexamine Jesus' death on the cross.
